From a fun fourth dog show to an opening of a slow market in the city, here’s what’s happening:

Fourth All Breed Championship Dog Show

Dog owners, dog professionals, dog enthusiasts across Nepal are coming together for the 4th All Breed Championship Dog Show, a nationally recognised canine event organised by Kennel Club Nepal (KCN) in affiliation with World Kennel Union. The show will feature dogs judged by certified international judges, including Reetha Liza from Dubai. Internationally recognised dog photographer DOG 99 will also be present.

Antardrishti: An Inner View

“Antardrishti: An Inner View” is a solo exhibition of visual artist Sangee Shrestha, curated by Sophia L. Pandé. The exhibition explores the inner visions of the artist through painting and ceramic forms.

Sapanaka Pailaharu

Mikha Creative Begins (Mikha CB), an organisation that works to empower Nepali women with intellectual disabilities, is hosting a talent show featuring its students. Marking the organisation’s fourth anniversary, the programme will include an art exhibition, dance performances and other creative showcases.

Vajra Market

Vajra Market is set to start on the coming 14th of March. It is a slow market held every Saturday at Hotel Vajra located around Swoyambhunath Temple. The market features a plastic free, pet friendly, live food, arts and crafts and jazz in the garden.

Writing Workshop

A three hour intensive writing workshop is taking place at Drawing Room Art Studio, Jhamsikhel. The workshop led by Tshering Tshomo, a fiction writer and researcher is open to participants aged above 13.
