The Lantern Festival

The Chinese Embassy in Kathmandu, in collaboration with Lalitpur Metropolitan City, has organised a Lantern Festival to celebrate the Lunar New Year. The festival remains open to the public until March 3.

Imaging South Asia: Nepal in the Making

This exhibition showcases a selection of historic maps of South Asia, exploring how cartography has shaped political, historical, and cultural understandings of Nepal and the wider region. The maps highlight the interpretive processes through which the region was surveyed, categorised, and reimagined.

Kids Holi Festival

At Agri Studio, Thecho, Holi will be celebrated with a range of activities designed especially for children. Highlights include colour-making workshops, T-shirt painting, face painting, muddy puddle fun, games, and food. The event promises a safe and chaos-free space for kids to enjoy the festival.

Bade Miyan Chote Miyan

Comedians Koshish Acharya and Karki Ji bring an unscripted night of comedy where audiences can engage directly and become part of the punchline. The show will take place at Happy Clubs, Maitidevi.
